Marketing Specialist II

Job Duties

  • Create posts for social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Film and produce a weekly vlog starring our Chief Investment Officer
  • Assist in creating content and updating websites
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns (digital, email, ad)
  • Design and create client-facing emails using our email service provider, Autopilot
  • Create, update, and proofread marketing one sheets for our sales and service teams
  • Create, update, and proofread client- and prospect-facing PowerPoint presentations
  • Execute on client appreciation, sales, and miscellaneous events
  • Research pricing, vendors, etc. as needed and present findings in an organized way
  • Take detailed notes during meetings, then type them up to share with the team
  • Assist Marketing Manager with other special projects

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (with at least an intermediate skill level)

  • Ability to learn and retain new skills and information with ease
  • A passion for problem-solving

Preferred Skills/Qualities

  • A passion for grammar
  • An eye for layout/design
  • Video editing experience (esp. with Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and/or Google Analytics
  • Experience working with an email service provider
  • Financial services experience

  • Provide a high level of client service to an RIA firm with $1B AUM
  • Speak intelligently with clients about their financial questions
  • Respond to all client inquiries by the end of the business day
  • Schedule and confirm client meetings for Senior Advisors
  • Effectively prioritize client issues, tasks, and follow-up items while remaining focused
  • Work with internal departments to effectively solve client questions and requests

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in financial services industry

Essential Job Functions and Duties
• Daily execution of securities transactions
• Rebalance client portfolios
• Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows and related custodial alerts
• Perform composites
• Trading platform data maintenance
• Assist with miscellaneous trading team projects

Education and Experience
• 4-year degree in business, finance, or a related field
• CFA Level I or higher preferred
• 2-3 years of professional experience, financial services industry experience preferred

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
• Comfort with technology and aptitude with software programs- custodial trading software knowledge and Tamarac trading platform knowledge a plus
• High level of proficiency in Excel
• Firm understanding of and demonstrated interest in financial markets
• Ability to assign priorities to multiple concurrent requests while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
